If you have already or are considering making a purchase of one of my digital downloadable items, here are the conditions you will need to be aware of. Making a purchase and downloading your items means that you accept and will adhere to these terms.

These terms will also be included in a PDF file with each digital download as well as linked in each digital download item description in my shop. Alternately, this page can also be found at any time via the FAQ page on my site (top menu bar).

Digital Downloads and Printable Colouring Pages

1. The digital downloads and printable colouring pages are to be used for PERSONAL USE ONLY. The files may not be shared with any other party or person, company, or entity and may not be sold/re-sold as a digital or physical item. The rights to these files and images belong solely to copyright@maigan_lynn. If you colour in some line work and want to gift it to a friend you are welcome to do that. Alternately, the printable Valentines are meant to be printed and used to gift as class cards in their printed form. This all falls under the realm of ‘personal use’ and is acceptable.
2. These files may not be altered in any way. These designs have been created with thoughtful precision and purpose and any alterations to the work may interfere with the artists vision and integrity of the original design. (You can colour the colouring pages to your hearts content, just don’t change the line work. Alternately, adding a classmates name to the Valentine cards does not qualify as ‘altering the image’).
3. You may feel free to post your finished coloured pieces to your own social media pages or blog. If you do post your finished pieces, please post a credit to the artist, Maigan Lynn, or link back to this site – www.maiganlynnart.com. Please do not post unfinished pieces/original files as that leaves the images exposed for opportunities of theft in which you may be held liable. If you wish to share the original image with others you may borrow the image from the download listing in my shop that should have a watermark with my name and website across it.
4. Maigan Lynn Art is not responsible for the quality of the printed file as the monitor and printer settings of each individual may vary. Printer paper or cover stock is recommended for most standard office printers. If you have a higher end printer that accepts a variety of papers, please feel free to use whichever paper you prefer at your discretion. The images are all made with crisp clean lines at a size that is meant to print on a standard sheet of 8.5×11″ paper unless otherwise noted.
5. Digital Downloads and/or printable files are non-refundable as they are not a physical item and cannot be returned. All sales of digital download and printable files are final.
6. Please make sure that you have the appropriate programs available in which to download the files, unzip the files, and then make sure your printer is set up to also print the files. The files come compressed to help save file and download size and time. They aren’t huge files but compressing the files helps, especially files with multiple images/items. If you need free decompression software, checkout Winzip. Also, the files will come as PDF files so you will need the appropriate software to open/view and then print them from. Adobe Acrobat Reader offers a free version of their software so you can open your PDF files. I choose to use PDF files because they can’t be altered and must be printed as is. I am not associated or affiliated with either of these companies. They’ve been around for decades and have always offered simple versions of their programs for free. These are the ones I’ve always used myself.
7. If you have any issues with your downloadable files please feel free to contact me. I will do my best to help you resolve any issues regarding the actual files. I cannot, however, resolve issues regarding your software or printer.
8. Feel free to use whatever medium you prefer as a means to colour in your printable colouring pages. Whether it’s physical mediums such as markers, crayons, pencil crayons, paints etc or digital colouring programs such as Procreate. AI programs, however, are strictly prohibited. Also, as a tip from an artist, some mediums like markers may bleed through the paper if you use standard office paper. In which case it is recommended to place a protective barrier under your sheet or use mediums such as pencil crayons instead. Mediums such as watercolour or acrylic paints will require thicker materials more appropriate for these mediums (such as canvas or watercolour paper but most standard office printers can’t print on these kinds of papers – they are likely to jam the printer).
9. I have a section in my FAQ page in regards to AI that is important to read. Any use of AI in regards to my images and/or line art – whether as a means to alter the image or ‘colour’ it – is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban from my site, shop, social media pages, as well as potential legal action. Once an image is entered into AI software it is then used to train the AI, it cannot be undone, and I do not, under any circumstances, grant permissions for this to take place.
10. I do not take commission or custom requests in regards to colouring pages. I sometimes will consider suggestions as to what people might want to see as a colouring page but a lot of my colouring pages are produced from art pieces that I’ve created previously.
11. Have fun! The purpose of offering these digital files was because I wanted people to have something unique and fun, whether it’s super cute and unique Valentines cards or hours of relaxing fun with the colouring pages. We all need more fun and peace and ease in our lives and hopefully my art will help provide some of that for you! This last point isn’t so much a ‘term’ – I just wanted to include it as a reminder to take a minute for yourself and enjoy!
